Nike has unveiled a rework of the iconic Kobe 10 with a new colorway dubbed “Hot Lava.” The vibrant sneaker features a mostly tonal mesh upper that oscillates between various shades of red, a black heel counter, and large branding with a stark white Swoosh. To round off the look, the midsole features speckling that resembles volcanic ash fragments, visible underneath a gel-like layer. Opting to utilize the standard Kobe 10 silhouette rather than the Elite Flyknit model, the offering is a striking addition to any collector’s set. It is also worth mentioning that the above image is of a GS pair, but an adult model will definitely be available. The Nike Kobe 10 “Hot Lava” will retail for $180 USD and will be released on December 9 at select retailers.

Airbnb’s Floating House on the River Thames
Airbnb has seen its fair share of resistance from regulators and incumbent industries around the world. So anytime the company gets a significant legal win under its belt – like the recent passing of the Deregulation Act in London which allows residents to share their property for up to 90 days a year – it likes to celebrate. In the case of London becoming a new haven for Airbnb travelers, the company decided to commemorate the occasion by creating a one-of-a-kind residence: a floating two-level house on the city’s famous River Thames. It feature a generous two bedrooms, full bathroom and living room, but Airbnb took things a step further with the inclusion of an actual backyard garden, complete with a lawn and dog kennel. A select few will be granted the opportunity to spend a night on London’s most iconic waterway, but the privilege comes with a few caveats: no swimming in the river, no house parties, and no acts of piracy. Any Captain Phillips reenactments will be frowned upon.
