Juggling the logistics of one company is a workload in itself, but throw in a wonderfully-imaginative collaboration with adidas earlier this year, and you’ve got the labor of love. Kolor designer and founder Junichi Abe is emblematic of such labor, having teamed up with adidas not only in a collaborative apparel line, but also as a part of the Ultra Boost Collective range earlier this year. Those two releases inform the spring 2016 collection from the brand, which is chock full of lightweight and whimsical statement pieces – a kind of penchant aesthetic for Kolor. Abe’s vision includes outerwear, sweaters, shirts and trousers done up in an earthy color palette, featuring nifty tweaks that speak to a sportswear sensibility.
