Aladdin Flies Through the Streets of NYC

Social media talent Casey Neistat teamed up with YouTube personality Jesse Wellens from Prank vs Prank to create an Aladdin reimagining that takes place on the streets of New York. Similar to a previous stunt where Neistat snowboarded through the very same streets, Jesse Wellens jumps on a Neistat designed magic carpet and creates excitement and wonder as he zips past awe-struck spectators. Unfortunately Princess Jasmine and his trusty sidekick Abu were not along for the ride, but hey, there’s always next Halloween.

Also, be sure to check out how the two teams pulled it off below.

Suunto Traverse

Outdoorsy wristwear specialists Suunto have unveiled the ideal companion for your treks into the wild: the Traverse. Built with exploration in mind, the design allows wearers to plan their route via Movescount‘s topographic maps — which includes data for hiking, trekking and more — and stay on track thanks to GPS and GLONASS navigation. Altitude graphs even let users define their optimal ascent and descent — FusedAlti combines barometric pressure with satellite altitude — when planning. Perhaps beast of all, the watch keeps an automatic “breadcrumb trail” so steps can easily be re-traced if necessary.

Made in Finland and offering over 100 hours of battery life, the Traverse can be pre-ordered online now for $450 USD and is due out October 15 in amber, black, white and graphite colorways.
