Concepts x Brooks Beast 1 “Voodoo”
Boston premium sneaker spot Concepts gives us another great collaboration, this time with running shoe company Brooks. The duo are thus re-introducing the Brooks Beast 1 model for this special project, with elevated materials in this runner’s staple. Colorway-wise, the “Voodoo” uses a salmon-esque rear quarter with a pastel blue toebox and beige mid section. Additionally, Concepts wanted to channel in the late Jimmy Hendrix into this collaboration who shares with Brooks a hometown of Seattle, Washington, thus blasting the inner soles and signature custom-made box with a psychedelic tie dye pattern.
