Stone Cold Steve Austin is launching his own craft beer called Broken Skull IPA (the same name as his ranch in Texas). The retired WWE star announced via Twitter recently that he’s partnered with El Segundo Brewing Company for the brew that apparently has “a big mid palate flavor from ample use of Cascade, Chinook, and Citra hops. The finish is wonderful with hops fading quickly and a polite bitterness that trails off easily.” Broken Skull IPA will debut at El Segundo Brewing in El Segundo, CA (near Los Angeles) November 13 with Austin appearing from 1-8 P.M. Secret Restaurant Encourages People to Eat, Not Take Photos
Artist Bob Dornberger has teamed up with Secret Restaurant — a series of art-related events hosted by Gamble House in Pasadena, California — for a special restaurant concept. Centered around a simple conveyor belt idea, this restaurant looks to tackle the irritating trend of people taking snaps of their food by prompting customers to physically pick-up their food before taking a bite. While it’s unclear as to whether or not this idea worked, it certainly raises awareness about this issue and possible ways to overcome it.
