Pablo COTS “Dapper Cafe” Exhibition @ MISSION PASTEUR

Known for his vibrant and tongue-in-cheek works, Paris-based graffiti artist Pablo COTS recently put on a solo exhibition at MISSION PASTEUR in Rennes, France. Curated by Teenage Kicks Biennale, the “Dapper Cafe” both a nod to Harlem’s Dapper Dan and an acronym for “Communication Access For Everyone,” showcased a series of bespoke apparel and throwback internet relics featuring quirky motifs that touch on themes of materialism, the Internet and noteworthy individuals in pop culture. Some notable works include throwback computers, ’90s cellphones, 8-bit canvas works and denim and coach jackets. Check out a visual recap of the exhibition above and head over to the artist’s website for more of his works.

Nike KD7 “Wild West”

After recently releasing a slick lifestyle version of his signature shoe, Kevin Durant and Nike also release a highly athletic iteration of the KD7. Dubbed “Wild West,” this version of the silhouette is outfitted with silver, white, and orange as a kind of homage to Durant’s alma mater – University of Texas–Austin. Durant’s story took a pivotal turn during his tenure as a Longhorn, and Nike well conveys this chapter with the “Wild West” release. A surefire pickup for fans of both Durant and the legacy of Texas sport, pick up the KD7 “Wild West” beginning December 19 on Nike’s website.
