For the latest installment of SHOWstudio’s “In Fashion” interviews, “The Home of Fashion Film” sits down with Russian designer Gosha Rubchinskiy. Here, Rubchinskiy opens up about his childhood, influences, and ambitions, shedding light on “his multidisciplinary, multi-media approach” and the influences on his work — chiefly the “romance of youth, Russian religious roots and the clash between the Russian post-soviet mentality and growing up in a country undergoing huge political, economical and cultural change after dissolution of the USSR in 1991.”
Check it out above and stay tuned for more from both Rubchinskiy and SHOWstudio.
