Nike Air Force 1 Experience @ STAPLES Center Recap

Over the weekend a lucky group of guests convened at the Nike Vault located at Los Angeles’ basketball epicenter, STAPLES Center. The “Air Force 1 Experience” allowed visitors to customize a selection of various Nike apparel and footwear, including even Air Force 1 sneakers. Fans were treated to an appearance by the Lakers’ first pick in the draft (and the second overall pick), D’Angelo Russell. The charismatic rookie tried his hand at DJ’ing, checked out the guest’s custom AF1 designs, and partook in a Q&A for attendees. Russell then selected his five favorite shoe designs, of which were awarded with tickets to the Lakers’ season opener. You can see D’Angelo Russell in action this week as the NBA season kicks off. If you’re interested in customizing a pair of the iconic Air Force 1 sneakers yourself you can head to Nike’s site now, and don’t forget to check out our full gallery above from the event.
