HYPEBEAST traveled to Germany last month to take a closer look at Mercedes-Benz’s new 2016 GLC. Based on the German company’s new C-Class sedan, the 2016 GLC replaces the GLK-Class and is described by chief designer Robert Lesnik as “much more on-road, it looks faster. It’s more dynamic, more sporty.” Boasting 320 horsepower, a combined combustion and electric engine and a state-of-the-art display to aid off-road driving, the new GLC is a huge leap forward for Mercedes-Benz and a trip to Metzingen allowed us to really get under the skin of the new machine. adidas #BeTheDifference World Final
adidas hosted the dramatic climax of its search for the world’s best freestyle footballer last week in Marseille. The world final of the #BeTheDifference tournament, which started in Berlin to coincide with last season’s Champions League final, was held in Marseille’s iconic docklands and featured special guests from some of the world’s best teams. Footballers from Real Madrid, Juventus, Bayern Munich, Manchester United, Chelsea and AC Milan were on hand to watch the competitors in action, judge the tournament and show off some skills of their own. A family-friendly event, the finals also allowed the German sportswear giant to roll out the third kits for the aforementioned teams and to coach some local youngsters.
