A Mash-up of Quentin Tarantino’s Push-In Shots

As a follow up to all the top-down view shots utilized, vimeo user whoispablo once again creates another mash-up of Quentin Tarantino’s signature films, this time focusing, quite frankly, on close-ups, or otherwise known as push-ins. The stylized shot is a technique meant to draw tension and dramatize the centered character. This angle can also be used to signal a deep thought, a clue to their personality and also foreshadow a significant event to occur soon. Carhartt WIP x Vans 2014 Fall Teaser

Following in the footsteps of last year’s Syndicate drop and this spring’s collaboration with P.A.M., Carhartt WIP and Vans are set to join forces once again for a co-branded footwear release. Teased here and still under wraps, the collaboration is due out this fall and–based on the teaser–perhaps makes use of a leafy camouflage motif.
