adidas unveils a groundbreaking 3D-printed midsole for its Futurecraft running silhouette. The German sportswear giant’s latest creation offers the ultimate personalization experience for athletes, by creating a bespoke midsole that matches the contours and pressure points of an individual’s foot, resulting in unmatched support and cushioning. In the forthcoming “Futurecraft” series, adidas will use “performance data to drive truly bespoke experiences, meeting the needs of any athlete,” which opens up the possibility for immediate in-store fittings. This stripped-back, raw design is likely to be the first of many silhouettes that will feature a 3D-printed construction, but what do you guys think of this innovative approach to footwear customization? Life is Beautiful Las Vegas Recap
Life is Beautiful is a music, food and art festival that takes place in downtown Las Vegas. The video above is a sneak peek into the works on offer as the founder Rehan Choudhry walks the viewer through his vision and why he believes this festival plays an important role in reimagining the forgotten downtown scene. Once a stomping crowd for the likes of The Rat Pack and illustrious gangsters like Bugsy Siegel, Life is Beautiful redevelopes a tired part of the downtown strip into an arts and tech-centric hub filled with large artworks by D*Face, Fintan Magee, Borondo, Maser and CYRCLE. Festival’s art curator Charlotte Dutoit speaks on the expansion of the project, transcending last year’s focus on art to a creative platform consisting of interactive installations and music. Enjoy the short and head to Life is Beautiful for more on the festival.
