Nike Celebrates the 30th Anniversary of the Air Jordan with MUSEUM 23 TOKYO

Perhaps the most iconic sneaker in history, the Nike Air Jordan 1 celebrates its 30th Anniversary this year. To commemorate this milestone, Nike is set to open MUSEUM 23 at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Tokyo. Fans will also be treated to a very special visit by Michaek Jordan himself, his first visit to Japan in nearly 11 years. MUSEUM 23 TOYKO will be an interactive space where visitors can learn about the Jordan brand history. Sneakerheads will also be able to see the complete lineup of the series, starting from Air Jordan 1 all the way up to Air Jordan 29. On a special court constructed specifically for the exhibit, MJ will re-enact the legendary “Last Shot” from the 1998 NBA finals. To add to the immersive experience, archive images of Jordan mid-flight will be shown as part of the “JUMPMAN Projection.”
