Back in 2008 Sneaker Freaker teamed up with PUMA to drop two incredible shark-inspired colorways of the Blaze of Glory. Now, with it being the 40th anniversary of the legendary Jaws — which was inspired by 1916’s New Jersey shark attacks — the two have tapped the Garden State’s own Packer Shoes for a follow up of sorts: the aptly named “Bloodbath.” First shown over the weekend and further highlighted by the film-esque “trailer” above, the design appropriately comes decked out in a bloody red hue while retaining design cues of the original 2008 releases — as well as the more recent “Sharkbait.”
Look for the kicks to be available alongside matching hoodies, tees, shorts and hats at a special “Bloodbath” pop-up shop beginning this Thursday, September 3 at the Refinery Hotel in New York City.
