Hiroshi Fujiwara and Virgil Abloh have come together for a highly-limited “OFF-BLACK” capsule collection, which will be exclusively for purchase at the former’s the POOL aoyama establishment. In a recent interview with honeyee.com, the two visionaries talked about their mutual admiration, how this collaboration came about and what the main inspiration behind the range was. Virgil was seemingly inspired by the ongoing “MELANISM” installation at the POOL aoyama, which led to foundation of the color back which is present throughout the capsule offering. So far a series of summer-ready espradilles and tartan shirts embellished with both fragment design and OFF-WHITE motifs have been unveiled, though it is yet to be seen whether this is the full range.
