After releasing their 2015 Spring/Summer lookbook back in May, Maison Margiela and MYKITA have unveiled a new range of sunglasses for 2016. The “Essential” line, which was first showcased in the Parisian fashion house’s runway show, is comprised of the double-bridged MMESSE006 and experimental MMESSE008 models in 6 color variations. More conventional round frames will be offered alongside oval and triangular shapes, which are both infused with a certain vintage aesthetic. The stainless steel lineup will be priced at ¥61,020 JPY (approximately $498 USD), and can be purchased from MYKITA retailers around the world, and select Maison Margiela boutiques.
