Lanvin 2016 Spring/Summer Collection

Lucas Ossendrijver has unveiled Lanvin’s 2016 spring/summer collection as a part of Paris Fashion Week. The toned, effortlessly versatile line presents a variety of classic everyday looks, which collectively boast minute, yet perceivable tailored refinements that reassuringly speaks for one’s style consciousness in true Lanvin fashion. Tops feature drooping neck lines that exaggerate the conventional combination of a tee and fitted blazer. Shirts and jackets alike have thin, frayed ends, adding a dramatic panache to the expressive, invitingly dark ensembles. Multiple coats, revealing a wrapped sash have been produced, including a full leather piece that complements the skinny black trousers they are respectively paired with — a simple look in and of itself. Grabbing hold of their rucksack, and wearing raised shorts, models appear ready to go dressed in blazer jackets layered over collar shirts with rolled arms. In direct contrast are tonal suiting options baring an open chest area due to the deep, sharp cut of the lapel. A noteworthy outfit is a dark, navy blue wool coat, with large, rolled sleeves exposing a velvet inner lining, placed over a smaller, midnight blue jacket, vertically zipped half-way, meeting the center sash, and matched with black jeans and leather sneakers sporting a metallic silver zipper centered across its front.
