Jamie xx was in attendance to bless the Glastonbury crowd with a sunset DJ set last night, and it was only right that he played his catchy summer jam “I Know There’s Gonna Be (Good Times)” for the masses. The song samples noted a capella group The Persuasions’ 1972 song “Good Times,” which Jamie played for a few minutes before launching into his Young Thug and Popcaan-supported hit. Jamie has been hitting the summer festival circuit hard as of late, supporting his new album In Colour which was release last month to widespread acclaim from music critics. In addition to “I Know There’s Gonna Be (Good Times),” the album cut “Loud Places” which features xx bandmate Romy is quickly becoming a fan favorite as well. Check out the clip of his set above.
