In the run up to the Jamie xx’s debut solo album In Colour, comes a new track featuring Atlanta native Young Thug in one of the most intriguing and perhaps highly anticipated collaborations released prior to the album itself. The single comes as another teaser ahead of the largely collaborative six year project adding to an impressive roster of guest appearances including that of xx band mates Romy of “Loud Places” and Oliver Sim. Accustomed to the use of unorthodox vocals, namely that of Gil Scott-Heron, Jamie xx has managed to effectively utilize Young Thug’s vocal range and raspy undertone to compliment the usual rhythm of his electronic production.
