Workwear purveyor CAT Footwear enlisted British designer and LC:M headliner Christopher Shannon for a five-part collection featuring industrial-inspired designs for 2016. Following successful collaborations over the past two seasons, Christopher Shannon elected to take a unique direction for his third season with the brand by attempting to modernize industrial style via season apropos designs. Featuring three pairs of shoes and two pairs of sandals, the sports-centric silhouettes are embellished with reflective webbing, lacing and metal details, and treated to a slew of eye-catching colors. Without deviating too far from CAT Footwear’s safety boot heritage, all five silhouettes are served up with hand cut leather and suede details, as well as reflective piping reminiscent of the ’90s.
