A select list of media and influencers took to Nike‘s Portland headquarters to see the official unveiling of the all-new LeBron 12. Created for one of basketball’s most dominant players in LeBron James, the 12th iteration of King James is a blend of strength, court vision, efficiency and explosive speed. Having never seen a player with the same level of simultaneous grace and power, conceiving a shoe worthy of LeBron James was no simple feat. With it comes the need for a balance of cushioning, support and flexibility. The heart of the shoe are five Zoom Air Unit pods in a hexagonal shape that ensure explosiveness and a natural feel and movement. Moving upwards, support comes courtesy of a Megafuse upper for a lightweight and breathable approach with Flywire creating that necessary lockdown fit. The LeBron 12 will release with seven colorways on tap starting October 1 in China and October 11 globally.
