Designed by Mistry Architects, Clover Villa is contemporary home set within a golf course development on the outskirts of Bangalore, India. The aim of the architects was to maximize views to the vast surrounding greenery and provide a comfortable living space for the owners. Featuring three bedrooms, a home theater and a rooftop terrace complete with bar and seating area, this generously-sized home provides plenty of spaces for entertaining with friends.
Here is an excerpt from the virtual tour, as provided by the designers: “A stone walkway meanders through the lush landscape of the home to take the visitor up to the entry. Pass through the sky lit entrance foyer and the spaces of the home then unfold outwards into the landscape. A reflective pool with skylights that create varying light and shade through the day connects both the floors with its high ceiling, double height windows and accent lights. There is a layering of spaces that merge the living and family to the semi covered deck spaces and then to the garden and the golf course beyond.” Sustainable features of the residence include a water harvesting tank and photo-voltaic panels.
