TriBeCa Loft Exhibiting an Unconventional Decor: Franklin Street Home

Franklin Street Home is a generously-sized apartment envisioned by Søren Rose Studio and located in the heart of Manhattan’s TriBeCa. An eclectic mix of decorations makes the place unconventional, even peculiar. This is exactly why we decided to feature this project on Freshome and find out your opinion on the overall interior design scheme. The loft extends outdoor with a charming rustic terrace, filled with color and flower pots, an oasis in the middle of the bustling city life.

The project is described as a classic TriBeCa loft, with a mezzanine level, and a double height ceiling in the kitchen and dining room. Large industrial windows guarantee that these main spaces are completely flooded with daylight: “The interior is playful, fresh and young, with a contemporary NYC touch. We wanted to fit exclusive high-end furniture with second-hand finds – such as a vintage Eames chair – to capture the city’s contrasts. At the same time, we tried to stay away from the classics by finding new and interesting pieces of furniture that maintain high quality craftsmanship”, the designers explained.
