November 27 will mark the 75th birthday for the late Bruce Lee, and to commemorate this special day, BAIT and Onitsuka Tiger, alongside Bruce Lee Enterprises, will release a very limited-edition collaborative sneaker. Although images of said kicks have yet to be revealed, the two brands have announced that they will be hosting four simultaneous birthday parties in the four key cities significant to Bruce Lee’s life, including San Francisco, Seattle, Los Angeles and Hong Kong. Each party is open to the public from 6pm-9pm on November 27.
Furthermore, BAIT will be hosting a daily giveaway on Instagram. All you have to do is post a video wishing Bruce Lee a happy birthday with the tag #BruceLee75 for a chance to win a prize. A Look at the Historic Wars That Have Inspired ‘Game of Thrones’
Recent comments made by Snoop Dogg claiming he liked to watch HBO‘s hit program Game of Thrones for historic purposes were heavily criticized. However in this TED-Ed short above, we come to find that much of George R.R. Martin’s framework were in fact drawn from historic battles. Beginning around 1377, medieval England harbored a power struggle between two noble families which spanned generations and Alex Gendler illustarted how the real-life epic Wars of the Roses served as the crux for the conflict between the fictional characters in Game of Thrones.
