After dropping a pair of shades earlier this summer, Hiroshi Fujiwara’s the POOL aoyama and Oakley are back with a second “MELANISM” edition of the tried-and-true Frogskins. Like the first pair, the Fall/Winter 2015 release takes cues from the POOL aoyama’s black-based “MELANISM” installation, pairing cloudy dual-colored frames with smoky lenses. This time, however, the design reserves the cloudy acetate for the arms alone while the bridge, rims and nose pads come in jet black.

DENIM BY VANQUISH & FRAGMENT Tote Bag
Vanquish and fragment design follow up their earlier efforts with another stylish and useful tote bag for the summer season. Constructed out of a variety of workwear fabrics, the bag features a damaged design and distinct Japanese Sashiko stitching, a type of decorative embroidery which is used to reinforce points that are torn and worn down. fragment design’s iconic double bolt logo embellishes the bottom corner, while a complementing white canvas fabric with a protective layer inside the bag provides protection from the interior. Priced at ¥72,000 JPY (approximately $582 USD), the DENIM BY VANQUISH & FRAGMENT tote bag will be available for purchase starting May 30 at UNITED ARROWS AND SONS locations in Japan and UNITED ARROWS in Taipei.
