Cristiano Ronaldo Would Rather End His Career “With Dignity” than Play in the U.S.

All rumors circulating about a possible move for Cristiano Ronaldo to the MLS have officially been debunked since the Real Madrid and Portugal star appeared on ITV’s The Jonathan Ross Show this past Thursday. On the program, Ronaldo divulged that he wants to end his career “with dignity,” which he expanded on to mean that he is not interested in playing in the United States, Qatar or Dubai. Although he attempted to backtrack from the statement, the meaning could not have been more clear. In an effort to salvage the assertion Ronaldo added, “That does not mean it’s bad play in the leagues of the United States, Qatar or Dubai, but I don’t see myself there.” Sorry, America.
