David Lynch & Mark Frost to Revive ‘Twin Peaks’ for Showtime in 2016
After reviving the series with a long-awaited 10-disc box set earlier this summer, David Lynch and Mark Frost have given Twin Peaks fans something else to look forward to: a third and final season of the cult classic. Celebrating the 25th anniversary of the show’s final run on cable, the new nine-episode installment of the murder mystery will go into production next year with Lynch and Frost writing and directing each episode. Fans will also be happy to know that series star Kyle MacLachlan is set to reprise his role as FBI Agent Dale Cooper. Look for the latest installment of Twin Peaks to air on Showtime in 2016 and, in the meantime, catch up on past episodes with Twin Peaks: The Entire Mystery.
