Hong Kong’s Hotel Indigo Features an Impressive Infinity Pool Above the City

Hong Kong is notorious for its dizzying array of buildings and people, so dizzying and busy that often, people forget to look up. Design firm Aedas took advantage of this unexplored airspace and built a dramatic cantilevered infinity pool overlooking the bustling neighborhood of Wan Chai. A part of Hotel Indigo, the entire building is a masterpiece in itself, winning 2013-2014’s A’Design Awards — with the beautiful pool just the cherry on top. Various areas of the building’s design elements are inspired by Asiatic influences, such as an interpretation of a Chinese tea house as well as a reimagined spiraling dragon wrapped around its exterior. Learn more about the building at Aedas’ website.
