リーボックから『攻殻機動隊ARISE』登場メカをモチーフにしたスニーカー発売
2014年6月21日(土)、リーボック(Reebok)から『攻殻機動隊ARISE』を題材にしたスニーカー「Reebok CLASSIC×MegaHouse INSTAPUMP FURY」が発売される。6月14日(土)より予約受付が開始となる。
発売されるのは、人気アニメーション『攻殻機動隊ARISE』を題材に、劇中に登場するメカ“ロジコマ”をデザインモチーフにしたスニーカー。リーボックを代表するモデル「インスタポンプフューリー(Instapump Fury)」に、“ロジコマ”の特徴である赤いボディを意識したカラーリングが施されている。
光学迷彩を彷彿とさせる特殊素材を使用したアッパーとヒールのシルバー部分は、見る角度によって色味が異なる。インソールデザインには、『攻殻機動隊』シリーズを象徴するキーワードである“電脳世界”とのリンクを、デジタルUI風のデザインで表現したグラフィックを採用。さらにかかと部分には、作品のロゴマークがプリントされている。
リーボックは、2年前にも『攻殻機動隊ARISE』の別シリーズ『攻殻機動隊 STAND ALONE COMPLEX』に登場する思考戦車“タチコマ”をモデルにデザインしたシューズ「INSTAPUMP FURY×攻殻機動隊 STAND ALONE COMPLEX」を発売。今回のコラボレーションスニーカーは、予約解禁と共に完売になる程大好評を得た前作に続く、共同開発商品第2弾となる。
