Michael J. Fox & Christopher Lloyd Discuss Which ‘Back to the Future’ Predictions Were Correct

In case you forgot, 2015 is the year that Marty McFly and Dr. Emmett Brown visited when they traveled forward into the future in Back to the Future Part II. And if that wasn’t enough of a timewarp-loophole for you, some of the predictions were actually correct. As Michael J. Fox and Christopher Lloyd reunite in this video, the iconic pair go over some of the tech predictions from the film that actually exist today: 3D movies, fingerprint technology and although not mentioned, hoverboards. And despite robot dog-walkers and Nike Mags (although we’re seriously crossing our fingers for this one) are still not quite within our reach, it’s pretty cool looking back at 1989’s version of 2015. Back to the Future Part II returns to select theaters on October 21. Check out the conversation above.

Vans Classics 2014 Holiday Van Doren Collection

A kind of ‘heritage’ collection of sorts, the Van Doren collection from Vans Classics is set to make a return to stockist shelves this holiday season. The neat capsule is chiefly comprised of the Slip-On and Era, intended to pay tribute to the family that founded Vans back in 1966. As such, the Van Doren collection this time around asserts three unique native-style prints; the Era is outfitted in both a blue and red textile-style screen (originally seen in the early 1990’s) and a cartoonish skull print. Elsewhere, the Slip-On is done up with a repeating “Geo Tribe” print reminiscent of Greek infinity patterns. Pick up all three options now from Vans Classics retailers worldwide.
