Microsoft Unveils its Newest Band Activity Tracker

Though it was packed with some impressive tech, the original Microsoft Band had a major, overarching flaw: it just wasn’t comfortable. Thankfully Microsoft has changed that with introduction of its overhauled activity tracker. Thanks to a new curved Gorilla Glass 3 OLED display, the Band is said to feel much more like your prototypical bracelet while a new closure and lengthened strap mean it should fit better than ever before. New sensors include the addition of a barometer to measure elevation, which joins a built-in GPS as well as the likes of sleep tracking, calorie counting and various notifications. The new Band also includes improved Cortana integration to make input even more streamlined.

Microsoft’s new activity tracker can be pre-ordered online for $250 USD and is set to drop October 30.
