‘JR: Can Art Change The World?’ Monograph by Phaidon

Few have undertaken provocative, large-scale public photography projects to the extent of French artist JR. Now publisher Phaidon has published the first major, in-depth retrospective of the enigmatic and anonymous Parisian polymath. Entitled JR: Can Art Change The World?, the tome — created in close collaboration with the artist — includes all of his bodies of work, as well as his collaborative endeavors and a bevy of previously unpublished behind-the-scenes looks at his studios in Paris in New York. The book even includes a specially commissioned graphic novel by Joseph Remnant that chart’s JR’s rise from his street roots.

Boasting 300 full color illustrations and another 200 in black and white, JR: Can Art Change The World? is available online now for $59.95 USD.
