It was reported last month that long-time Nike employee, Gentry Humphrey was leaving the sportswear giant. Playing an intergral role in what Nike is today, Humphrey joined the company in 1994 and was most recently working on basketball projects with Nike Sportswear. However, it is now being reported that Humphrey is in fact not leaving the company, but will be taking a new post. He will be staying on board with the Swoosh, now heading its Golf department. Based off his impressive track record, we’ll surely be expecting great things from Nike Golf.
Huge turn of events: Nike counter-offered Gentry Humphrey’s recent resignation and he’s STAYING with the brand. He’ll now lead Nike Golf.
