Jordan Brand Unveils New Collection Led by Cult Classic Air Jordan XI IE

Jordan Brand has revealed a trio led by the iconic Air Jordan XI Low ID. The pack consists of the remolded XI in low and a “Black/Green” colorway, the Air Jordan 1 High “The Return,” and the “Green Black” rendition to the Air Jordan 1 KO. Designed by Tinker Hatfield, the XIs first took the spotlight in 1996 when Jordan wore them during the playoffs. Most instantly recognized by its patent leather, the sneaker features an upper in contrary to the summer touch, seasonally adapted to “put breathability in the right spots.” The mesh provides athletic appeal, while the artful stitching and elephant print are decorative elements that make the court shoe fitting in the lifestyle realm. Regarding the design, Hatfield notes; “The initial Air Jordan XI Low actually helped me think about how I was going to design the Air Jordan XII. I wasn’t interested in an exact replica of a XI in a low top; I was more interested in doing a low top that was partly the Jordan XI, but fresher.”
