adidas Originals and Japanese retailer ZOZOTOWN follow up their 2013 effort, with another extravagant revamp of an iconic silhouette. This latest collaboration uses the Three Stripes’ Superstar 80s silhouette as the base, but embellishes the otherwise tonal effort with a hefty amount of pony hairs across the outer foot, and premium leather trims for the branding and heel tab. The inner portion of the shoe sees a directly inverse material treatment. Completed with touches of gold along the tongue, heel tab and sole, purchase a pair starting September 18 for at the Japanese retailer’s webstore.
