These Scooters Are Designed to be Sold From Vending Machines

If you’ve ever been hit with a bout of fatigue rendering you unable to walk one step more, this new concept was designed precisely to solve that problem. Thought up by product designer Wang Yixing, the No. 5065 scooter is a design that can be folded up into a compact tube measuring 50 by 6.5 centimeters, making it the perfect form to be dispensed from a vending machine. Conceived to solve the problem of “last mile” transportation in the city, the scooter can easily be carried in a backpack and can be used to bridge different forms of public transport. While there is no word on availability, here’s to hoping that this product, which was an Honorable Mention at the Red Dot Design Awards, soon becomes a reality.
