The new model maintains the medium-format sized sensor but now in the form of an advanced CMOS chip rather than the previous CCD configuration; this leads to higher sensitivity in ISO, 4K movie ability, a live-view option and overall image quality enhancements in noise and clarity. A higher burst rate of up to 3.5 fps is also worth mentioning, due to the camera’s new Maestro II processor for drastic read/write speeds.
