The Air Jordan 9 sneaker first launched in 1993 right after Michael Jordan’s sudden retirement for the 1993-1994 NBA season, and the understated “Anthracite” model is the first of a string of Air Jordan 9 releases expected to hit stores for the fall season. Featuring an Anthracite/Black-White colorway, this model holds a nubuck upper, contrasting white eyelets, “23” embroidery on the heel, embroidered “AIR JORDAN” tongue patch logo, glossy, piano black rubber midsole, and black outsole.
