Just one day after revealing its first teaser at Unpacked 2015, Samsung debuts its new Gear S2 smartwatch with a curiously fashion-centric lookbook. Opting for a round screen (in comparison to Apple’s rectangular watch while Google’s Android Wear offers both square and circular), the Korean company’s new piece of wearable tech is rumored to have a host of innovative features. The Gear S2 will allegedly run on Tizen, Samsung’s homegrown mobile operating system (to be compatible with Samsung phones), and come with both a white band and a black band.
Earlier this Spring Apple introduced its first Apple Watch campaign with a 12-page spread in Vogue‘s March issue, showing the world that it was a high fashion item over a tech one. The rest of Samsung’s lookbook also carries on this high fashion theme with Samsung’s two newest phones, the Galaxy Note 5 and the Galaxy S6 Edge+, and stars models like Xiao Wen Ju and Bella Hadid.
