If you weren’t among the 400,000 gamers who attended Gamescom last week, you’re in luck: Microsoft has posted the entirety of its Rise of the Tomb Raider demo to YouTube. Clocking in at around 13-minutes, the demo does well to show off the action of the new game, as well as Lara’s evolution from 2013’s Tomb Raider reboot. Whereas that game depicted a more vulnerable heroine, the new installment sees a more badass Croft and one who is well-acquainted with weaponry. Here, we get our first good look at the character’s array of stealth and head-on attacks while the climbing, leaping and ledge-grabbing of the first game returns in all its glory.
Promising larger, more diverse and more challenging tombs, the Xbox One-exclusive is due out November 10.
