Director and photographer NABIL has teamed up with GoPro to direct the latest video from UK-based indie band FOALS. The innovative visuals for the song “Mountain At My Gates” are shot entirely on a GoPro Hero and uses the company’s Spherical virtual reality technology — allowing for 360 degree filming. The result is a 4K video that can be spun around, essentially without losing sight of anything around the viewer (or cameraman). Tough to explain, but the visuals should suffice. This opens up an entirely new realm of possibilities for videography, and you can check out how it was done here.
