OnePlus Unveils Its Latest Android Smartphone

After generating a tremendous amount of hype with the OnePlus 1 a little over a year ago, Chinese smartphone manufacturer OnePlus recently announced the launch of its latest Android smartphone via a VR live stream. Aptly named the OnePlus 2, the sleek device features an aluminum-magnesium alloy frame with stainless steel accents that wraps around a crystal-clear full HD 5.5” IPS LCD In-Cell display. Complete with a 64-bit Qualcomm® Snapdragon 810 SoC processor, the fastest on the market nonetheless, the 175 g smartphone has 64GB of storage for all of your apps, games and videos, while the 13 megapixel camera at the rear boasts 6 physical lenses. Additional improvements to the camera include a revolutionary Optical Image Stabilization system, and a rear-mounted laser technology that ensures the camera is in focus in a mere 0.33 milliseconds. A fingerprint scanner for increased security, wide range band support and a range of elegant wood covers round out the latest model. Equally impressive in design and function, the 64GB OnePlus 2 is priced at $389 USD, and will be available for purchase starting mid-August. Head over to the company’s website for more information.
