The Big Apple’s 10.Deep, inspired by the bikes that often fill the entry area of their headquarters, has followed up its 2012 collab with Animal with a more commute-friendly offering for bike enthusiasts, joining fellow NYC favorite MSC to craft the Rain X Custom Build. Refinishing MSC’s new lightweight 7005 aluminum Rain frame with a full carbon tapered-steerer fork and custom collaborative graphics, the endeavor comes equipped with a bevy of top-of-the-line components, incorporating everything from SRAM Omnium cranks and Cinelli X Mash Bullhorn handlebars to genuine Brooks leather bar tape and a matching B15 Swallow caramel leather saddle — not to mention classic profile box section rims laced to sealed cartridge bearing flip-flop/direct-drive to freewheel hubs and a full FSA cockpit.
Complete with “Go Hard or Go Home” text along the top tube for a little motivation, the Rain X Custom Build is available now through Sunday, July 26 in 52 cm and 57 cm frame sizes from 10.Deep’s web store; coinciding with the drop is a micro run of special edition tees that are exclusive to the web shop and MSC’s Mott Street retail location.
