Streetsnaps: Milan Fashion Week June 2015 – Part 4

With Milan Men’s Fashion Week coming to a close, we catch showgoers bidding farewell before heading to Paris in our last edition of Streetsnaps coming from the Italian fashion capital. A country known for its superb tailoring and cutting, it’s unsurprising to see both men and women decked out in tailored goods. However, belying the formal dress code that many may associate with fashion week, the Italians maintain a distinctively laid back approach with linens and loose fabrics. Combined with more comfortable fare in the likes of sweatshirts, jogger pants and sneakers, attendees are looking relaxed heading to their next destination. Unbuttoned collars and a nonchalant style proves that the Italians are still at the top of the fashion game, serving as prime inspiration for your next business casual outing. Denim makes a strong showing coinciding with the coming of summer, and proves that it’s as timeless as it’s ever been. And as for footwear, comfort is the name of the game, with men opting for sneakers instead of brogues. But another polarizing fashion trend is adorning feet, and this time it’s taking a page out of your dad’s closet with a sandal and sock combination.
