Following his portrayal of Walt Disney in 2013’s Saving Mr. Banks, Academy Award winner Tom Hanks will return to the silver screen later this year in the Cold War thriller Bridge of Spies. Directed by Steven Spielberg and written by Matt Charman and the Coen brothers, Hanks will play an American lawyer thrown into the middle of the Cold War to help negotiate the release off an American pilot shot down in the Soviet Union. Bridge of Spies is expected to hit theaters this October 16.
