Nike always seems to do a great job in supporting small communities and subcultures. Adding to the already buzzing global conversation on soccer, here the brand presents two new clips that zero in on street soccer in Santiago, Chile. In the way that The Netherlands has “Total Football” and Spain has “Tiki-Taka,” Chile too has rapidly developed its own proprietary philosophy on the game, based on the speed and technique required for small-sided games. In the below films, Nike beautifully highlights the gritty, tough Chilean soccer scene as a larger narrative surrounding Latin America as it approaches the Copa America tournament this year.
