Incoming reports have confirmed Stephen Curry has earned the title of this NBA season’s Most Valuable Player. The news was first reported by Monte Poole of CSN Bay Area and later reaffirmed by Marc J. Spears of Yahoo Sports. The NBA is expected to make an official announcement tomorrow, before Curry receives the trophy ahead of Tuesday’s Game 2 playoff game against the Memphis Grizzlies. Curry’s deadly range, increased proficiency on the defensive end, coupled with the Warriors’ league leading 67 wins and unblemished playoff record has effectively propelled him above James Harden and Russell Westbrook amongst other strong candidates for the prestigious award.
