Carefully rolled out in short stints over the past few years, PUMA’s R698 silhouette here adds to its storied legacy with the tech-forward “Dark Shadow” release. The upper has been executed with a highly-reflective engineered mesh base layer, laid over with premium bonded TPU throughout. Adding to this military-esque appearance are reflective round laces, which rests with the upper above a thick white Trinomic midsole. This isn’t the first time PUMA has experimented with TPU Kurim, having also executed a version of the XS-500 this season. Pick up this special version of the R698 at retailers such as Feature now.
