‘FILA’ is used for a number of acronyms. Sometimes, it professes a love for a certain Georgian city; at other times it can be used to refer to ‘fakers’ in Los Angeles. Subsequently and in all regards, the brand itself is a cult favorite, used as a symbol to represent street cred in its various forms. Here we find legendary Wu-Tang member and rapper Raekwon perhaps positing another expansion on the name for his sixth studio album: Fly International Luxurious Art. The LP, which is currently available for pre-order on iTunes, features an extensive list of heavy collaborators including: A$AP Rocky, Busta Rhymes, Snoop Dogg and Ghostface Killah. With all that, is this 13-track release the sonic representation of concrete credibility for a resurgent rapper in 2015?
