CYRCLE. “NOTHING EXISTS” Mural in LA

Los Angeles-based art collective CYRCLE. has just completed NOTHING EXISTS, a three-wall mural in the Playa Vista neighborhood of West Los Angeles. Being the first piece of their newest series, we see CYRCLE. artists David Torres (Rabi) and David Leavitt (Davey) stepping away from their distinct signature style for this large-scale installation. The mural exhibits clean lines and pale colors with a dominant lunar green shade, as natural elements like sand, stone, wood and ash are juxtaposed with modern materials like metals, mirrors and plexi neon. And yet, the themes it carries are very CYRCLE.-esque with its play on duality, space, belief, God, as well as the intersection of science and spirituality. Stay tuned for more on CYRCLE. as the art duo prepares for a slew of upcoming projects this year, including a solo show in Montreal’s Station 16 Gallery this June during MURAL Festival.
