As part of its Adventure Seekers series, Red Bull has highlighted some of the most death-defying roads in the world. Starting with the desolate Dalton Highway in Alaska, which has only three villages sparsely scattered along its stretch and a highway code that requires drivers to bring along survival supplies for the journey. Next up is Karakoram Highway in Pakistan, which stands at 15,397 ft. It’s the highest paved road in the world, leading climbers up to the Himalayas and onto one of the hardest alpine climbs in the world. On the Atlantic coast of France lies the Passage de Gois, which sits three feet below sea level and floods twice per day, leaving behind seaweed and other obstacles for drivers to deal with. Other notable mentions include North Yungas Road in Bolivia, Rohtang Pass and Zojila Pass in India, as well as Guoliang Tunnel Road and Tianmen Mountain Road in China.
